                 Velká, nejspíše vládní budova nebo budova patřící zpravodajské agentuře. Jedna z místností v ní. Skupina asi 5 lidí v oblecích. Jeden z nich začal hovořit - "Jak asi tušíte, nebo jste si říkali, tak možná tady nejsme okolo téhle Zemi sami. A my sme přesvědčeni, že pro to máme důkazy. Protože tyhle dva cizácké druhy tady byli od počátku věků. Nebo si to alespoň myslíme. Máme je vyobrazené jak na nastěnných malbách, tak i v záznamech všech civilizací."  

               "Vážně? A víte, jak vůbec vypadají? Někdo se s nim setkal?" "Anomáme nějaká svědectví. První mimzemská rasa je obvykle popisováná jako nějací serpents. Vysoce pohybliví, vysoce nebezpečný, s tmavě černou barvou. Druhá vysoce vyspělá rasa. Většinou popisovaný tak, že používali zbraně a vybavení vysoce převyšující ty naše. A taky že měli něco jako nevditelnost. Měli nějaké zařízení, co jim to umožnovalo."  

               "A podařilo se někomu zaujmout alespoň jeden kus od každého z těch tvorů?" Byl zvědavý jeden z účastníku. "To se podívejme, lidé z Weylandu sem z nějkéh důvodu prokluzli. Divím se, že vás sem pustili. Ale asi jste příliš důležití pro naši vládu. Osobně bych vás ihned vyhodil ze dveří jen co jste vkročili do téhle místnosti, ale na mně to bohužel není. Ale k vaší otázce - ne, protože jsou zatraceně nebezpečný, alespoň pro ty co se s nimi střetli. A obvykle nenechají ty co s s nimi střetnou žádná těla. Bu%d je úplně roztřílí nebo vyhodí do luftu. A nebo pro ten druhý druh, svědci  těchto setkání popisují že si pro ně úřišlli další z jejich druhu nebo se vyhodili sami do povětří. Chcete říct data?" Všichni pokývali hlavou. 

               "841, skupina Vikingů se setkali s tím mimozemským lovcem nikdo nepřežil, setkání skupiny křižáků s tím mimzemským lovcem, dva přeživší kteří se ale potom ztratili, 1609 feudální Japnsko nikdo nepřežil,  1719 Severní Amerika, 1730 Irsko, 1914 zákopy u Osmanské říše, 1940 v lesích Francie, 1941 a 1944 Pacifik. A ještě nejspíše spoustu setkání předtím o kteých jsme vůbec neslyšeli. Dokonce máme podezření, že si z některých míst na téhle planetě udělali svoje soukromá loviště. I s lidmi chycenými uprostřed toho všeho." 

           "Dobrá, a co s tím? Jak nám tohle pomůže? Proti SSSR?" "Myslíme si, že právě nadešel čas jejich dalšího lovu. To je to co si myslíme že dělají. jsou to lovci. A co myslíte že je lepší příležitost získat d těch parchantů ty jejich technologie než tahle?" Jo, to mohla být naprostá pravda. Asi to za to stálo. "Jenom chci podotknout, že Weyland může nabídnout své vlastní muže. Že se to můžeme pokusit to pro vás získat. Zcela zdarma, v rámci našich dobrých vztahů. Ale chceme potom mít možnost si to co získáme půjčovat si sami na velmi dlouhou dobu, dokud z toho nezískáme to, co chceme." "Rozumím, můžeme se o tom pobavit. Ale nic neslibujeme."

          A large building, most likely a government building or a building belonging to an intelligence agency. One of the rooms inside. A group of about five people in suits. One of them began to speak: "As you may have guessed, or as you may have wondered, we may not be alone here on this Earth. And we are convinced that we have evidence for this. Because these two alien species have been here since the beginning of time. Or at least we think so. We have depictions of them in wall paintings and in the records of all civilizations."  

               "Really? And do you know what they look like? Has anyone encountered them?" "We have some testimonies. The first extraterrestrial race is usually described as some kind of serpents. Highly mobile, highly dangerous, dark black in color. The second highly advanced race. Mostly described as using weapons and equipment far superior to ours. And also that they had something like invisibility. They had some kind of device that enabled them to do so.  

              "And has anyone managed to capture at least one specimen of each of these creatures?" One of the participants was curious. "Let's see, the people from Weyland slipped in here for some reason. I'm surprised they let you in. But I guess you're too important to our government. Personally, I would have thrown you out the door as soon as you stepped into this room, but unfortunately, it's not up to me. But to your question—no, because they are extremely dangerous to those who encounter them.  

               And they usually leave no bodies behind. They either blow them to pieces or blow them up. Or, for the other type, witnesses to these encounters describe them bringing in others of their kind or blowing themselves up. Would you like the data?" Everyone nodded. 

                "841, a group of Vikings encountered the alien hunter, no one survived; a group of crusaders encountered the alien hunter, two survivors who were then lost; 1609 feudal Japan, no one survived; 1719 North America; 1730 Ireland; 1914 trenches in the Ottoman Empire, 1940 in the forests of France, 1941 and 1944 Pacific. And probably many more encounters before that, which we have never heard of. We even suspect that they have made some places on this planet their private hunting grounds. Even with people caught in the middle of it all."  

               "Okay, so what? How does that help us? Against the USSR?" "We think it's time for their next hunt. That's what we think they're doing. They're hunters. And what better opportunity to get those bastards' technology than this?" Yeah, that could be absolutely true. It was probably worth it. "I just want to point out that Weyland can offer its own men. That we can try to get it for you. Completely free of charge, as part of our good relations. But we want to be able to borrow what we get for a very long time until we get what we want out of it." "I understand, we can talk about it. But we're not promising anything."  

"All right, gentlemen, I'm adjourning this meeting. I expect us to assemble a team as soon as possible and go catch one of those bastards. Both of them."
